For the backside of the ornament, you can choose to leave it clear and simply write on it with the paint markers. Try family member names, family last names, Christmas sayings, the year, etc.

Fabric and scrapbook paper both yielded great results for me! If you have extra Christmas fabric on hand I suggest using that! Or head to the craft store for some affordable scrapbook paper, the Christmas tree one I used was .69 cents a sheet!
