This protein ice cream recipe is as easy as placing the ingredients into the designated Ninja Creami pint, blending it with an immersion blender, and freezing until frozen. The Ninja Creami machine then does all the work for you!
If you are new to the Ninja Creami, it’s an awesome machine that makes frozen treats nice and creamy, different from just blending them in a blender.
You must pre-freeze your mixture as it only works with frozen ingredients.

I bought these extra pints and lids to prep more ice cream for the week, and they work perfectly!
This Ninja Creami protein ice cream recipe is a perfect base for getting a creamy ice cream texture.
To make this custom to your preference try a flavored protein powder, I love Clean Simple Eats Vegan Vanilla, chocolate brownie, strawberry cheesecake, and maple donut!

Ninja Creami Protein Ice Cream
Equipment
- 1 Ninja Creami machine
- 1 Ninja Creami pint container
- 1 immersion blender/blender optional
Ingredients
- ½ cup cottage cheese 1% for lower calorie
- ¼ cup Fairlife core power protein shake vanilla or your choice of protein shake
- ¼ cup liquid egg whites
- ¼ cup almond milk or milk of choice
- 1 tbsp powdered peanut butter
- 1 serving preferred protein powder of choice vanilla or your choice of flavor
Instructions
- place all ingredients into the Ninja Creami pint and blend with an immersion blender until smooth. You can use a regular blender or a hand whisk if desired!
- place the lid on the pint and put it on a flat surface in the freezer for a minimum of 12 hours but preferably 15 hours or more.
- when ready to eat, remove the pint from the freezer and allow it to sit at room temperature for about ten minutes.
- place the pint in the Ninja Creami, choose full, and use the light ice cream setting.
- if the first results are powdery and not creamy, add a splash of almond milk/protein shake and re-spin. repeat until desired creaminess is reached!
- add toppings if desired and enjoy!
Notes

After blending the first time it wasn’t as creamy as I’d like so I added a splash of protein shake and blended again on the re-spin setting.

Much better!
